For Vets

We are happy to be contacted for advice, a consultation or to accept a referral for surgery. We aim to respond within 24 hours, and within a few hours for urgent cases.

Consultation, Advice, Referral.

The majority of our case load involves lame patients. We are available to provide a consultation to localise pain and discomfort or offer a more involved lameness work up which includes performing radiographic imaging and potentially joint arthrocentesis. Often, a diagnosis can be made from information provided on a history and clinical examination, as well as submitted images, which means that we can go straight to booking in a surgery (for example fractures, most cruciate cases, as well as those with patella luxation).

Should further imaging (CT, MRI or ultrasound) be required prior to making a booking, this can be organised.

There are a number of soft tissue procedures that we are happy to do as a visiting surgical service, however those that may require extensive work up prior to surgery, or those that require more involved peri or post operative care we would recommend are sent to an external referral centre. We are happy to help guide this on a case-by-case basis, as we understand that no two cases are the same.
